Mercer Valley Realignment
Imagine an end to the "Mercer Mess;" now picture a multi-lane, two-way boulevard lined with trees, shops and bicycle paths.
The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is currently conducting a study to identify ways of improving safety and mobility along Mercer and Valley streets in the South Lake Union neighborhood. These changes would provide smoother traffic flow and make South Lake Union Park easily accessible by pedestrians, bicyclists and transit riders.
